If you are in the yard sign business, or considering it,

Adhesive Vinyl

The sports signs are manufactured with screen printing (hey, even I broke down and finally bought 3D flamingos)

	Vinyl takes wear so much better than screen printing.
	Vinyl does not scratch off or crack when the plastic is bent.
	Vinyl gives additional protection to the plastic from bending damage.
	Vinyl does not fade like paint.
	We use vinyl with a 5 year life outdoors and unlimited life indoors. When signs are outside for a celebration and then stored indoors, their life is extended well beyond 5 years. With proper care, they should have unlimited life (except for the 2 cows that were chewed up by dogs, of course).
	It just looks good !!

How Do They Stay In The Ground ??
We use a short H style galvanized stake that goes through the flutes and into the ground. The stakes are 15 inches long, so the sign sits close to the ground. This prevents the signs from blowing away in wind storms. Not to mention, it looks better if the stake is not so visible. If you pull up the plastic slightly, you can step on the stake to drive it into the ground or just push it in with your hands. We do offer the longer length (30 inches) if it is a must have for you. With proper care in set up and removal, the signs and stakes have a very long life. The corrugated can get bent, but most colors do not leave a noticeable crease to end their use. With all honesty, they are not indestructible - in a birthday party stupor they have very occasionally been fallen on (it wasn't me). Their cost and ease of storage in comparison to other options should allow you to have a few standbys in case of such accidents or theft.
